The Design—Crochet Cup Cozy Pattern
The Perennial Cup Cozy crochet pattern is a beverage or coffee cup sleeve featuring a modern stylized ribbed texture inspired by nature — creating a chic yet casual and polished yet practical cozy accessory for crochet markets, Christmas gifts, or Birthday presents.
The sweet little coffee cup sleeve is constructed side-to-side in one piece, and seamed together at the end.
Fit + Sizing
The Perennial Cup Cozy comes in one size—9.5" (24 cm) circumference x 3.5" (9 cm) tall

Materials
As written, you'll need category 3 DK weight yarn (11 wpi) in the amounts of:
64 yds (58.5 m)
Yardage noted includes additional 5% beyond calculations needed for project.
Other materials you'll need:
G-6 (4 mm) crochet hook
tapestry needle
scissors
Gauge
24 sts x 18.5 rows = 4" square
Yarn and Yarn Substitutions
The yarn I used is WeCrochet Swish Worsted with a wpi of 11 and consisting of 50% merino wool and 50% pima cotton.
If substituting yarn, I suggest a 100% cotton or cotton blend yarn. Any yarn weight could be substituted if using the custom sizing guide within the patter. Some beautiful substitution suggestions include:
