The Design
This sweet little scarf is the perfect accessory to finish off your look. Sport it around your neck, head, ponytail, waist, tote, purse, or bag. Drape it, wrap it (once or twice), knot it, loop it, or tie it in a bow.
Fit + Sizing
The Saccharine Scarf is written for 4 sizes—short or long and skinny or wide. Short is perfect for wearing in your hair, wrapped around your head, or long enough to wrap around your neck once. Long is long enough to wrap around your head or around your neck twice. Size (width and length) can easily be customized and adjusted for personal preference.

Materials
As written, you'll need category 2 sport or category 3 DK weight yarn in the amounts of:
Size 1 (short + skinny) | 110yds
Size 2 (long + skinney) | 150yds
Size 3 (short + wide) | 135yds
Size 4 (long + wide) | 115yds
Other materials you'll need:
3.5mm crochet hook (1 for the main part and 2 for the i-cord edging)
tapestry needle
scissors
st markers
Yarn Substitutions
The yarn I used, WeCrochet Andean Treasure is a 100% baby alpaca yarn. You can easily substitute many other sport and DK weight yarns for this pattern (and even some light worsted). You can also check out Yarn Sub. This pattern is pretty flexible, but if you want it to turn out just like my samples, I recommend making sure you make a gauge swatch. Small differences in gauge can lead to big differences in project outcome. For more on gauge, you can read this blog.
