The Design—Crochet Sweater Pattern
This Evermore Pullover crochet sweater features a cropped fit, extended button collar, cable-inspired decorative detail, and wide ribbing. This effortlessly wearable statement sweater will add a striking and unique touch to your cold-weather wardrobe.
The sweater is constructed side-to-side by making two panels—a front and back panel, then seaming them together at the shoulders. Then, the collar and button band are added to finish.

Fit + Sizing
The Evemore Pullover has a cropped fit. It features a straight body, wide ribbed texture, and short row cable-inspired decorative stitches. Bottom hem and cuffs are worked into the panels and sleeves while the collar is applied perpendicular to the neck opening. Sizing is based on Craft Yarn Council's standards.
It is designed to have a positive ease of 7.5-10.5" (19-27 cm). To select your size, measure your bust and find the garment circumference in the chart that matches approximately 7.5-10.5” (19-27 cm) larger. If you prefer to have more or less ease, select the garment circumference that reflects that number in inches compared to your measured bust in inches. I have a 34" bust and am wearing a size small for 8" of ease.
Size | Bust Circum. | Garment Circum. |
XS | 28-30" | 27.5" |
S | 32-34" | 32" |
M | 36-38" | 36.5" |
L | 40-42" | 39" |
XL | 44-46" | 43.5" |
2XL | 48-50" | 48" |
3XL | 52-54" | 52.5" |

Yarn
The yarn I used is WeCrochet High Desert Worsted with a wpi of 9 and consisting of 100% american wool. When/if substituting yarn, make sure you make a gauge swatch. Small differences in gauge can lead to big differences in project outcome. For more on gauge, you can read this blog. You can also use yarnsub.com to help you find substitutions.
